Now Hiring: Welder (MIG/TIG) – Smartech International Sdn Bhd, Nilai. Salary RM3,000–RM5,000. Age below 40. Diploma/Certificate in welding with 2+ years MIG/TIG experience required. Apply with CV, NRIC copy, certificates, and availability date.

General Duties

• Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment with correct parameters tailored to materials and processes.
• Determine and apply the appropriate welding technique—MIG or TIG—based on job requirements.

Daily / Weekly Duties

• Execute daily instructions and tasks as directed by the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Ensure all welding work adheres to the provided drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor welding joints for structural integrity, visual quality, and compliance.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on welding machines following a standardized checklist.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization per 5S methodology.
• Comply with safety practices and protocols across production lines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Adhere to all company rules, policies, and regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Welding or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in MIG or TIG welding.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.

Salary Range

RM3,000 – RM5,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
